Higgsfield Pricing Explained (and Cheaper Ways to Run the Same Models)
Verdict: Higgsfield costs $15, $49 or $129 a month for 200, 1,000 or 3,000 credits, with annual discounts on Plus and Ultra. It's good value if you mostly run Kling 3.0 or Wan 3.0, or if you're on an annual Ultra plan and use every credit. If you mainly need Veo 3.1 or Seedance on a monthly plan, buying the same models by the second through an API is usually cheaper.
Prices on this page come from Higgsfield's pricing page and Higgsfield's own pricing guide (published October 24, 2026), checked October 28, 2026. API prices come from Dbggr's October 2026 AI video model comparison. Higgsfield changes plans often, and several third-party sites still list old prices, so confirm at checkout. No vendor pays for placement on PromptVideo.

What each plan unlocks, per the pricing page:
- Starter is limited to selected models. For video, that means Seedance 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini, with up to 2 videos and 4 images generating at once.
- Plus opens all models and features, including every Seedance model. It lists Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana 2 (2K) as "7-day unlimited," plus up to 6 videos and 8 images in parallel.
- Ultra adds Nano Banana Pro (2K) to the "7-day unlimited" list and allows up to 8 videos and 8 images in parallel.
- Teams adds shared workspaces, a pooled credit balance, dedicated capacity with an SLA, and a 30-day Unlimited Seedance 2.5 offer that's limited to business plans.
About team pricing. The pricing page says teams start "from $65 per seat/month." Higgsfield's pricing guide lists Team at $79 per seat per month with 1,000 credits per seat (2 to 9 seats), Scale at $215 per seat with 2,500 credits per seat (5 to 15 seats), and custom Enterprise pricing. The pricing page doesn't say which tier or billing term the $65 figure applies to, so ask for a quote before you budget.
How Higgsfield Credits Work
Every generation spends credits, and the cost depends on the model, resolution and clip length. The rules that affect your bill, from Higgsfield's pricing guide:
- Credits don't roll over. Unused monthly credits are gone at renewal.
- Failed generations are usually refunded. Completed generations never are, even if you don't like the result.
- Credit packs and Auto-Refill credits expire after 90 days. Auto-Refill isn't available on Starter.
- The API has its own dollar balance, separate from plan credits.
- "Unlimited" and free generations only work on higgsfield.ai. The MCP server, CLI, Canvas and Supercomputer always charge credits, per the pricing page. The page also says unlimited use may slow down during high-traffic periods.
The no-rollover rule is the big one. Your real cost per credit is only as low as the table above if you use all your credits every month.
What Credits Buy: Cost per Model
These are the credit costs Higgsfield lists on its pricing page as of October 28, 2026. The last column converts them to dollars per second of video at the Plus monthly rate of $0.049 per credit.
| Model | Credits (as listed) | Credits per second | $/second on Plus monthly (our math) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kling 3.0, 720p | ~7 per 5s | 1.4 | ~$0.07 |
| Kling 3.0, 1080p | ~8 per 5s | 1.6 | ~$0.08 |
| Wan 3.0, 720p | 8.75 per 5s | 1.75 | ~$0.09 |
| Wan 3.0, 1080p | 17.5 per 5s | 3.5 | ~$0.17 |
| Seedance 2.0 Fast, 720p | ~12 per 5s | 2.4 | ~$0.12 |
| Seedance 2.0, 720p | ~22 per 5s | 4.4 | ~$0.22 |
| Seedance 2.0, 1080p | ~60 per 5s | 12 | ~$0.59 |
| Seedance 2.5, 720p | 35 per 5s (pricing guide) | 7 | ~$0.34 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast, 720p/1080p | ~16 per 4s | 4 | ~$0.20 |
| Veo 3.1, 720p/1080p | ~40 per 4s | 10 | ~$0.49 |
| Minimax Hailuo 2.3, 768p | ~6 per 6s | 1 | ~$0.05 |
For images, Nano Banana Pro costs 2 credits per image and Soul 2.0 costs 0.12 credits per image.
Two numbers don't line up across Higgsfield's own pages. The pricing guide lists Seedance 2.0 at 30 credits per 5 seconds at 720p, while the pricing page shows about 22. The pricing guide also lists Seedance 2.5 at 80 credits per 5 seconds at 1080p and 210 credits for a 30-second clip at 720p. Check the cost shown in the app before you generate.

Is Higgsfield Cheaper Than Running the Same Models via API?
Sometimes. Here's how the Plus monthly rate compares with published per-second API prices for the same models at 720p.
| Model (720p) | Higgsfield Plus monthly (our math) | Higgsfield Ultra annual (our math) | API price per second (Dbggr, Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kling 3.0 | ~$0.07 | ~$0.05 | $0.084 ($0.126 with audio) |
| Wan 3.0 | ~$0.09 | ~$0.06 | $0.083 |
| Seedance 2.0 | ~$0.22 | ~$0.15 | $0.15 |
| Seedance 2.5 | ~$0.34 | ~$0.23 | $0.231 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast | ~$0.20 | ~$0.13 | $0.10 |
| Veo 3.1 | ~$0.49 | ~$0.33 | $0.40 |
What the numbers say:
- Kling 3.0 is cheaper on Higgsfield than the API at either plan rate, and Plus and Ultra also list Kling 3.0 as "7-day unlimited."
- Wan 3.0 is about the same on Plus monthly and cheaper on Ultra annual.
- Seedance and Veo cost more on a monthly Higgsfield plan than via API. On an annual Ultra plan, Seedance comes out about even and Veo 3.1 can be cheaper, but only if you use every credit.
- Veo 3.1 Fast is cheaper via API at both plan rates.
These comparisons assume you use your whole credit allowance and that settings like audio and resolution match. Retries cost money on every platform, so the model that gets a usable take in fewer attempts can be the cheaper one.
Cheaper Ways to Run the Same Models
If the math above doesn't favor Higgsfield for your work, here are the main alternatives.
Pay per second through an API. Aggregators like fal and Replicate, along with model makers' own APIs, charge only for what you generate, with no expiring credits. Prices vary by host. Dbggr found fal charging $0.473 per second for Seedance 2.5, about twice the lowest listed rate, so compare hosts before you commit.
Use the model maker's own plan. Dbggr points out that bundled credits can beat API prices. Its example is Google AI Pro at $19.99 a month, which includes 1,000 credits for Google Flow, Google's Veo-based video tool.
Pick a cheaper model for drafts. Dbggr lists Veo 3.1 Lite at $0.05 to $0.08 per second and MiniMax H3 at $0.08 per second at 768p. Draft on a cheap model, then finish on a premium one.
Stay on Higgsfield, but plan for it. If you like Higgsfield's interface and tools, an annual plan you'll fully use is the cheapest way in. A monthly plan you only half use is the most expensive.

Which Option Should You Pick?
| If you… | Best fit |
|---|---|
| Mostly generate Kling 3.0 or Wan 3.0 | Higgsfield Plus or Ultra |
| Generate a lot every month and can commit for a year | Higgsfield Ultra, billed annually |
| Mainly need Veo 3.1 or Veo 3.1 Fast | An API or Google's own plan |
| Mainly need Seedance 2.5 on a monthly budget | An API host with a low per-second rate |
| Create in bursts, with quiet months | Pay-per-second API (no expiring credits) |
| Are just testing AI video | Higgsfield Starter or a free API trial |
| Need a shared workspace for a team | Higgsfield Teams, after getting a quote |
Is Higgsfield Worth It? (Our Higgsfield AI Review of the Pricing)
This isn't a hands-on test of output quality. On pricing alone, Higgsfield is worth it when you use one platform for many models, generate steadily, and mostly use the models where its credits are cheap. It's weaker value for Veo-heavy or Seedance-heavy work on a monthly plan, and for anyone whose usage swings month to month, since credits don't roll over.
Watch out for two common surprises: the Free plan has no credits and no commercial use, and "unlimited" doesn't apply when you use Higgsfield through its MCP server or CLI.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Higgsfield cost?
As of October 28, 2026, Starter costs $15 a month for 200 credits, Plus costs $49 a month (or $39 billed annually) for 1,000 credits, and Ultra costs $129 a month (or $99 billed annually) for 3,000 credits. Team plans start from $65 per seat per month on the pricing page.
Does Higgsfield have a free plan?
Yes, but it includes 0 credits, limited use and no commercial use, per Higgsfield's pricing guide. It's for looking around, not for producing client or ad work.
Do Higgsfield credits roll over?
No. Monthly plan credits don't roll over. Credit packs and Auto-Refill credits expire after 90 days.
Does Higgsfield refund credits for bad generations?
Failed generations are usually refunded. Completed generations aren't refunded, even if you don't like the result.
Is Higgsfield cheaper than using an API?
It depends on the model and plan. By our math from published prices, Kling 3.0 is cheaper on Higgsfield, while Veo 3.1 Fast is cheaper via API. Seedance and Veo 3.1 are cheaper via API unless you're on an annual Ultra plan and use all your credits.
What are the best Higgsfield alternatives?
Pay-per-second API hosts like fal and Replicate, the model makers' own plans (such as Google AI Pro for Flow credits) and cheaper draft models like Veo 3.1 Lite and MiniMax H3. See our Sora alternatives guide for a full model comparison.
Does Higgsfield unlimited work through the MCP server or CLI?
No. The pricing page says unlimited models and free generations only work on higgsfield.ai. The MCP server, CLI, Canvas and Supercomputer always charge credits.
